Geller International Fellowship

In October 2022, the Israel on Campus Coalition named me to Cohort One of the Geller International Fellowship program. A meaningful honor, the first class of fellows traveled on a fully funded fellowship trip to Israel and the United Arab Emirates, the first educational mission since the signing of the 2020 Abraham Accords. Since returning from the trip in January 2023, I've aimed to spread the values of the accords as well as the fellowship: tolerance, mutual understanding, dialogue, respect for others, and peace.

The GELLER MACHBERET

I took diligent notes throughout our travels in Israel and the United Arab Emirates. Each night, I updated a blog post about our experiences for the day, as well as some commentary on the amazing places we saw and the people I spoke with. The blog post was titled "The Geller Machberet," the ultimate word meaning "notebook" in Hebrew.

Across the ten day trip, my eyes were opened to some very important themes; the blog (and my small bound travel notebook) served as an opportunity to reflect on those themes. I welcome you to read it below.
