Hi 👋🏻 I’m David Wolfe Bender.
I strive to be curious about everything. Whether I am researching how a new law will affect Washington DC's public transportation system, coding something for a new project, or writing a major industry report, I am driven by a desire to understand how things work — and how they could work better.
I was born in Northern Virginia, my forever home (no matter if I am physically there, I'm there). My curiosity has led me down a variety of paths. Today, I'm working for Chrysalis Global, a full-service consulting firm. There, I've worked for notable clients. In 2024, I led the coordination of the aviation industry's largest administrative move of the year. At Chrysalis, I served as the primary author on a published report through the Federal Aviation Administration's research program.
Nothing is more important to me than learning. I studied economics, political science, and journalism at Indiana University's flagship campus in Bloomington. I also earned a Master of Science degree in Data Science in 2025. For me, learning is more than a degree or a piece of paper; it's a lifelong value. Because no matter if I sit in a classroom or lead a massive logistical planning effort on an airfield, I'm never done learning.
